Gordana M. Djordjevic

Gordana M. Djordjevic, PhD, PMP, currently serves as the Chief Scientific Officer and Co-Founder of Arsenale BioYards since January 2024 and as a Scientific Advisor at ServareGMP since January 2022, focusing on developing biologic medicines for vulnerable populations. Prior experience includes holding the position of Vice President of Biotech at Perfect Day Americas, where significant organizational restructuring was achieved. As Senior Director of Platform Initiatives at Zymergen, Gordana managed numerous cross-functional projects to enhance R&D capabilities. Previous roles at Synthetic Genomics, bp, and Verenium involved leading large technical teams and projects in biofuels, biologics, and analytical chemistry. Educational credentials include a Ph.D. in Microbiology/Biotechnology from North Carolina State University and a Master's and Bachelor's degree from the University of Belgrade in Molecular Genetics and Biophysics, respectively.
