Melissa Gunner

Melissa Gunner is an experienced professional in the art industry, currently serving as the Head of Business Strategy Asia at Art Basel since June 2015. Previous roles at Art Basel include Project Lead for New Business and various management positions, reflecting a progressive career in art project management. Prior to Art Basel, Melissa was involved with Art Central as a Fair Assistant and gained experience as a Gallery Assistant at Lesley Kehoe Galleries. Early career roles include law clerking at prominent firms and multiple internships in the art field. Melissa holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Modern Languages from The University of Western Australia, in addition to a diploma in Chinese Language and Culture from Zhejiang University.
