Cheryl D. Holmes Miller, DHL, serves as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Connecticut-Stamford and as a Professor of Diversity Equity Inclusion in Communication Design at ArtCenter College of Design. With extensive experience in higher education, Cheryl holds positions as a Distinguished Senior Lecturer at The University of Texas at Austin and a Lecturer at Howard University, with previous appointments at Roger Williams University and Lesley University. Cheryl is also the President and Consultant of Cheryl D. Miller Design | Cheryl D. Miller Fine Art, a corporate communications design firm and fine art advisory. In addition, Cheryl holds the title of Design Diversity Futurist at Design Diversity Group and contributes as an Archivist to The Cheryl D. Miller Collection at Stanford University. Cheryl's educational background includes multiple advanced degrees, including a Master of Science in Business/Corporate Communications Design from Pratt Institute, a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design from the Maryland Institute College of Art, and a Doctor of Fine Arts in both Foundation Studies and Graphic Design, alongside a Master of Divinity from Union Theological Seminary.
