Stephanie Sonnier

Stephanie Sonnier currently serves as the Assistant Director of the Office of Research Services at LSU Health Sciences Center New Orleans, a position held since August 2024. With a robust background in clinical trials and research management, Stephanie previously worked as the Director of Clinical Trials at LSU Healthcare Network from July 2019 to July 2024 and held the role of Administrative Director at The Clinical Trials Center at Children's Hospital New Orleans from January 1998 to July 2019. Stephanie's rich experience includes overseeing clinical research departments, managing personnel and finances, and ensuring compliance with FDA guidelines. Early career roles include serving as a Clinical Research Nurse Coordinator and providing specialized nursing care in neonatal intensive care units at various prestigious hospitals. Stephanie holds an MBA in Management from Tulane University and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center.
