Kristine Medeiros

Kristine Medeiros, CPA, CA has a strong background in finance and accounting. Kristine started their career at KPMG in 2003 as a Staff/Senior Accountant, where they gained experience in auditing and financial statement analysis. In 2008, they advanced to the role of Senior Manager, where they planned, executed, and controlled audit engagements and provided clients with recommendations on financial reporting guidelines. In 2013, they became the Director of the Federation of Portuguese Canadian Business and Professionals before joining Cancer Care Ontario in 2014 as the Acting Director of Finance. In this role, they provided leadership to a team and prepared financial reports for senior management and the Board. In 2015, they joined the Art Gallery of Ontario as the Associate Director of Finance Services and later became the Director of Financial Services in 2017. Throughout their career, Kristine has demonstrated strong analytical and problem-solving skills and has stayed up-to-date with current accounting issues and standards.

Kristine Medeiros, CPA, CA completed their education at the Schulich School of Business - York University from 1999 to 2003. Kristine also pursued their interest in the culinary arts, earning a Culinary Arts Certificate from George Brown College from 2006 to 2009. Kristine further specialized in Baking Arts, obtaining a Baking Arts Certificate from George Brown College from 2009 to 2014.
