Ben Koenigsknecht

Director, Global Marketing at ART Hydroprocessing

Ben Koenigsknecht has extensive work experience in the engineering and chemical industry. Ben started their career as an Engineering Intern at Eli Lilly and Company in 2003 and 2004. Ben then worked as an Undergraduate Lab Assistant at Michigan State University in 2005.

In 2006, Ben joined UOP and began as an Engineer in their Career Development Program. Ben later became a Chief Technical Advisor in Field Operating Services, where they led teams and worked on refining and petrochemical process units in various countries. In 2011, they transitioned to the role of Development Specialist for Renewable Energy and Chemicals.

In 2012, Ben began working at W.R. Grace & Co., where they held various roles within the ART Hydroprocessing Joint Venture. Ben then joined ART Hydroprocessing as a Senior Technical Service Engineer for Ebullated Bed Resid Hydrocracking. Ben later became a Senior Technical Specialist in the same field and eventually served as a Marketing Manager. Ben also took on the role of Strategic Segment Manager for Resid.

Currently, Ben holds the position of Director for Global Marketing at ART Hydroprocessing. In this role, they are responsible for defining and executing the global strategy for ART Hydroprocessing's resid hydrotreating and resid hydrocracking market segments. Ben drives global sales, profitability growth, and leads product development programs while championing commercial excellence.

Ben Koenigsknecht has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Indiana University - Kelley School of Business, completed in 2020. Ben also has a Master of Science (MS) degree in Business Analytics from the same institution. Prior to that, Ben earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Chemical Engineering and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Philosophy from Michigan State University. Ben also holds certifications in Sandler Sales Bronze from Sandler Training and Six Sigma Green Belt.
