Abigail Hibbs

Abigail Hibbs has extensive work experience in various roles within the art industry. Abigail began their career as an Office Assistant at The Sam Francis Foundation in 2009, where they contributed to the preparation of the artist's catalogue raisonné. From 2013 to 2013, they worked as a Gallery Attendant at SFMOMA San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, where they assisted and directed visitors during special exhibitions. Abigail then moved on to become an Executive Assistant to the Principal at an Art Advisor company in 2014, managing travel logistics and schedules, among other responsibilities.

In 2017, Abigail took on the role of Gallery Manager at Peter Blum Gallery, where they handled HR and financial matters, reconciled accounts, and managed invoicing and tax payments. Later that year, they joined Gavin Brown's enterprise as an HR & Finance Manager. In this position, they oversaw HR protocols, managed finance-related tasks, and optimized the overtime system for greater efficiency.

Abigail's most recent role was as a Finance Manager at Art Money, starting in 2020. Abigail is responsible for the financial elements related to accounts payable for various companies overseen by the gallery. This includes reconciling credit card and bank accounts and preparing payroll adjustments.

Throughout their career, Abigail has demonstrated strong financial management skills, HR expertise, and attention to detail. Abigail has also shown the ability to handle multiple tasks and responsibilities simultaneously.

Abigail Hibbs earned an Associate's degree from Pasadena City College between the years 2007 and 2010. Their field of study during this time is unknown. Following their time at Pasadena City College, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Art History at the University of California, Berkeley from 2010 to 2012.
