Thomas Eckert

Thomas Eckert has a solid work experience in the finance industry, starting with their current role as Head of Sales Switzerland at Artemis Investment Management since June 2021. Prior to that, they took a sabbatical from September 2020 to May 2021 to pursue private projects. From June 2018 to September 2020, they were the Director of Business Development at Legg Mason. Thomas gained extensive experience at Julius Baer from November 2012 to May 2018, where they held various roles including Fund Specialist, Deputy Team Head, Investment Partner, and Investment Consultant. Before that, they worked at UBS Wealth Management from August 2006 to October 2012, serving as a Mandate Specialist, Client Advisor for HNWI, and Client Advisor for retail clients. Thomas started their career at Sparkasse Hochrhein, where they completed an apprenticeship and worked as a client advisor for both retail and corporate clients from August 2000 to July 2006.

Thomas Eckert completed a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Banking and Finance at the University of Applied Sciences - Bonn - Germany from 2005 to 2008. Thomas then pursued further education and obtained a MAS Master of Advanced Studies degree in Banking and Finance (CFA ® Track) at the University of Applied Sciences Northwestern Switzerland - Institute for Finance, from 2012 to 2014.
