Siyi Tang

Siyi Tang has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. Siyi started their career in 2014 as a Supply Chain Intern at Infineon Technologies. In 2016, they worked as a Student Teaching Assistant at the Singapore Institute of Technology and as a Research Engineer at the Singapore Institute for Neurotechnology. In 2017, they became a Research Officer at A*STAR - Agency for Science, Technology and Research. Siyi then joined Salesforce in 2021 as a Research Intern before moving on to ArteraAI in 2022 as a Machine Learning Scientist Intern. Siyi continued their journey with ArteraAI in 2023, this time as a full-time Machine Learning Scientist. Siyi also gained research experience during their time at Stanford University, where they worked as a Graduate Research Assistant from 2018 to 2023.

Siyi Tang completed a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering at the National University of Singapore from 2012 to 2016. In 2015, Tang participated in a semester exchange program at RWTH Aachen University, focusing on Electrical Engineering. Tang is currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Electrical Engineering at Stanford University, starting in 2018 and expected to graduate in 2023.

In addition to their formal education, Tang also obtained several certifications related to machine learning and neural networks from Coursera. These certifications include "Sequence Models" (obtained in April 2019), "Convolutional Neural Networks" (obtained in January 2019), "Improving Deep Neural Networks: Hyperparameter tuning, Regularization and Optimization" (obtained in December 2018), "Structuring Machine Learning Projects" (obtained in December 2018), and "Neural Networks and Deep Learning" (obtained in October 2018).
