Eric Sherk

Eric Sherk has a strong background in verification engineering, with experience in various companies. Eric is currently working as a Principal Verification Engineer at Arteris. Prior to this, they served as a Software Verification Engineer at Semifore, Inc. In addition, they worked as a Staff Engineer at ACL Digital and as the Director of Verification at Marvell Semiconductor. Earlier in their career, they held the position of Principal Engineer/Manager at Qualcomm and Senior Engineer at IBM. At Qualcomm, they managed a team responsible for designing and verifying ARM-based custom CPU cores. At IBM, they led the implementation of a vendor-neutral verification methodology across the ASIC Core development team. Overall, Eric has extensive experience in managing verification teams, setting methodology direction, and driving continuous improvement in the verification process.

Eric Sherk earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Michigan Technological University, where they studied from 1979 to 1983. Eric furthered their education by pursuing a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Syracuse University, attending from 1984 to 1990.
