Jordan Amirkhani is a seasoned curator, writer, and educator with extensive experience in contemporary art. Currently serving as Curator and Head of Research and Project Development at Rivers Institute for Contemporary Art & Thought since May 2020, Jordan also contributes as a Writer and Critic for Art in America and as a Regular Contributor for BURNAWAY Magazine and Artforum International Magazine. Previous roles include Guest Curator of Contemporary Art at Atlanta Contemporary and Professorial Lecturer in European and Global Modernism at American University. Jordan's academic foundation includes a Ph.D. in History and Philosophy of Art from the University of Kent, a Master's Degree in Art History from The George Washington University, and a Bachelor's Degree in Art History from Birmingham-Southern College.
