Jyoti Dhar

Jyoti Dhar is an accomplished art critic and editor with extensive experience in contemporary art in South Asia. Currently, Jyoti serves as Head of Editorial and Content Strategy at Sharjah Art Foundation, overseeing a team responsible for editorial processes and conducting writing workshops. With over two decades in the field, Jyoti has contributed to various publications including Art Asia Pacific, Artforum International Magazine, and The Sunday Times, as well as serving as a columnist and independent critic. Previous roles include Assistant Editor at The Ceylon Chronicle and Founder and Editor of ChinarTree.com, a notable resource on regional art. Jyoti holds a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) from the University of Bristol.
