Edgar Lugo

Dr. Lugo originally from Mexico City obtained his Doctor of Medicine degree from the Universidad Autonoma Metropolitana, Mexico 2011. He started his residency in Sports Medicine at Escuela Superior de Medicina (IPN 2018) and was certified as a sports medicine physician by the Mexican Council of Sports Medicine (CONAMEDE) in 2020. Prior to joining the Arthrex Medical Education team in Mexico February 2022 as a clinical specialist promoting the techniques and correct use of Arthrex products to surgeons and fellows in anatomical segments such as knee, shoulder, foot and ankle; he was working in different sports institutions like National Antidoping Organization as Education Manager, Mexican Olympic Committee and National School of Sports Coaches (ENED) as a sports doctor where he was able to support as a surgical assistant in arthroscopic surgeries in athletes. This latter where he acquires experience and pleasure in arthroscopic surgery.
