Tonya Manning

Tonya Manning serves as the Managing Director and Chief Actuary at Gallagher, leading the Defined Benefit Consulting and Administration Practice in the U.S. since January 2024. Concurrently, Tonya Manning has been a Lecturer in the Actuarial Science Program at Columbia University since 2014 and holds a position as an Emeritus member of the Board of Trustees for The Actuarial Foundation. Additionally, Tonya Manning contributes to the ERISA Advisory Council for the U.S. Department of Labor and has held various leadership roles across organizations such as the Society of Actuaries and the International Actuarial Association, including past presidency. Previous roles include significant positions at Buck, a Gallagher Company, and Aon Consulting. Tonya Manning completed a Bachelor of Science in Mathematical Science at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
