Fay Twersky

Fay Twersky has extensive work experience in the philanthropy and nonprofit sector. Fay currently holds multiple leadership roles, including serving as President of the Arthur M. Blank Family Foundation and as Board Chair for The Van Leer Jerusalem Institute. Fay is also a member of the Executive Committee Board at the Metro Atlanta Chamber. Previously, they held positions such as Vice President at the William and Flora Hewlett Foundation and Senior Advisor at Yad Hanadiv (Rothschild Foundation). Throughout their career, Twersky has been involved in various board memberships, including The Center for Effective Philanthropy and UBS Optimus Foundation. Fay also founded BTW informing change, where they served as Founding Principal.

Fay Twersky completed their education at several prestigious institutions. From 1983 to 1986, they attended the University of California, Berkeley, where they earned their Bachelor of Arts degree with high honors. Fay'smajor field of study at Berkeley was Rhetoric, with a focus on Middle Eastern Studies. Following their undergraduate studies, Twersky pursued further education at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) from 1987 to 1989. During this period, they obtained their Master of City Planning (M.C.P.) degree, specializing in Urban Studies and Planning. Additionally, in 1981 and 1982, Twersky also spent some time at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, although the specific degree and field of study for that period are not provided.
