Ruwan Wickramarachchi is an experienced professional in the field of computer science and artificial intelligence, currently serving as a Graduate Research Assistant at the Artificial Intelligence Institute at the University of South Carolina since August 2019. Previous roles include internships at Bosch Center for Artificial Intelligence, Bosch USA, and Bosch, where work focused on knowledge representation and AI research. Ruwan has also contributed as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Wright State University and held research positions at Kno.e.sis and LSEG Technology, where significant software engineering and machine learning responsibilities were undertaken. Ruwan holds a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Computer Science from the University of South Carolina and Wright State University, alongside a Master of Science - MS in Computer Science from Wright State University and a Bachelor of Science - B.Sc. in Computer Science from the University of Colombo School of Computing.
