Thilini Wijesiriwardene is a graduate research assistant at the Artificial Intelligence Institute at the University of South Carolina, focusing on context-aware harassment detection on social media. Previous experience includes a summer research internship at the National Institutes of Health, where Thilini utilized state-of-the-art natural language models for vocabulary alignment, and positions at the University of Colombo School of Computing as an assistant lecturer and instructor, delivering lectures and mentoring students in Human-Computer Interaction.
