Daniel Ward

Daniel Ward, CPA, is an accomplished Investment Tax Manager at Artisan Partners since April 2017, previously serving as a Tax Associate. Prior experience includes a role as a Senior Tax Associate at EY from July 2012 to April 2017, where engagement experience focused on mutual funds and hedge funds within the Financial Services Office. Responsibilities included tax compliance, regulatory testing, financial reporting, and excise tax calculations for mutual funds, as well as reviewing aggregate theory allocations and partnership compliance products for hedge funds. Daniel holds a Bachelor’s in Business Administration and a Master of Accountancy with a focus in Accounting from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, earned between 2007 and 2012.
