Matthew Plotkin

Matthew Plotkin is an experienced finance professional with a robust background in trading and risk management. Currently serving as the Head Trader/Risk Manager at Artisan Partners - Antero Group Partners since January 2017, Matthew previously held the position of Head Trader/Risk at a New York-based Asset Management Fund from November 2014 to January 2017. This fund was managed by Michael Karsch, who was formerly associated with Karsch Capital Management. Prior to this, Matthew was the Head of Trading at KCM Consulting, where trading responsibilities included working for Michael Karsch's Family Office and consulting for Stanley Druckenmiller's Family Office. Earlier career experience includes a decade as Co-Head of Trading at Karsch Capital Management, beginning in May 2002. Matthew Plotkin holds a B.S. in Marketing and Business from the University of Maryland, obtained from 1994 to 1998.
