Jean H. has an extensive work experience in various legal roles. Jean started their career as the General Counsel at Guidant Sales Corporation in 2003 and later became the Deputy General Counsel at Guidant Corporation in 2004. In 2006, they joined Boston Scientific as the VP CRM Litigation and then moved to Medtronic in 2008, where they held positions such as Vice President, Legal, CRDM and VP, Deputy General Counsel--Cardiology. From 2012 to 2014, they worked as the Vice President, General Counsel & Secretary at CR Bard. Jean then joined Dorsey & Whitney LLP as Of Counsel for a year before becoming the Dean and Professor of Law at Hamline University in 2014. In 2015, they became the Dean Emerita at Hamline University School of Law and also started working as the Senior Vice President, General Counsel, Chief Compliance Officer & Secretary at Artivion, Inc. In 2020, they became a Board Member at Dynamic Light.

Jean H. has an impressive education history. From 1975 to 1979, they attended Yale University, where they obtained dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in Biomedical Engineering and Latin American Studies. Subsequently, from 1980 to 1984, Jean H. pursued both an MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a JD from the University of Chicago Law School. They specialized in Finance and Labor Relations for their MBA and studied Law for their JD degree. In May 2021, Jean H. obtained a certification as a Certified Corporate Governance Professional from the Society for Corporate Governance.
