Johanna de Gennaro

Johanna de Gennaro is a Senior Quality Engineer currently working at Artivion, Inc. since April 2023, with prior experience in the same role at BD from August 2017 to April 2023. Johanna began the professional journey as a Research and Development Engineering Intern focused on medical devices at BD. Academic contributions include a position as a Student Research Assistant at Hitchcock Lab Group, University of Utah, with a focus on medical device development from January 2013 to May 2017, and serving as a Teaching Assistant in the University of Utah Department of Biomedical Engineering, managing the Biosystems Analysis laboratory and grading. Johanna holds both a Master's degree and a Bachelor's degree in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from the University of Utah, completed between 2012 and 2017.
