Michael Stone has worked in the software industry since 1990. Michael began their career as a Software Technician at Honeywell in 1990. In 1992, they moved to Novell as a Software Engineer. In 1993, they were hired as a Lead Macintosh Engineer and Project Manager at Zinc Software. Michael then joined Art+Logic in 1997 as a Lead Engineer in Quality Assurance.
Michael Stone obtained a BS in Computer Science from Arizona State University between 1988 and 1992. Michael also holds certifications from the Federal Aviation Administration as a Remote Pilot - Small Unmanned Aircraft System (2021), a Private Pilot - Airplane Single Engine Land (2020), and an Amateur Radio Technician (2005). Additionally, they hold a Certified Associate in Software Testing from QAI Global Institute (2017), an EMT from the Utah Department of Health, Bureau of Emergency Medical Services (1993), a Firefighter I from the Utah Fire Service Certification Council (1997), Hazmat Awareness from the Utah Fire Service Certification Council (1997), BLS for Healthcare Providers (CPR & AED) from the American Heart Association | American Stroke Association, Eagle Scout from the Boy Scouts of America, and Open Water Diver from PADI.
