Alanah Reid

Alanah Reid is a dedicated educator and artist with extensive experience in teaching and artistic endeavors. Currently teaching at Artspace since June 2021, Alanah conducts week-long classes and workshops focused on printmaking, gouache painting, and rug making. Additionally, Alanah has contributed to the Colton Review and showcased artwork at the North Carolina Museum of Art during the Frida Kahlo/Mexican Modernism College Night in 2020. Previous roles include designing posters for productions at Meredith Ensemble Theatre and the Meredith College ensemble Theatre, as well as serving as a one-on-one ABA instructor for the Meredith Autism Program. Alanah's early career involved teaching guitar and providing ESL tutoring, demonstrating a broad commitment to education and the arts. Education at Meredith College commenced in 2015 and continues to the present.
