Melanie Kelly has extensive experience in the tourism sector, currently serving as the Manager of Strategy, Research and Planning at the Aruba Tourism Authority since January 2011. In this role, Melanie promotes Aruba as a preferred destination for visitors from 120 countries. Prior to this position, Melanie held the role of Strategic Policy Advisor at the same organization from June 2006 to 2010, where responsibilities included long-term tourism policy development and short-term marketing strategy formulation, notably co-developing a tourism policy aimed at balancing the needs of visitors with those of locals. Earlier career experiences include positions as a Junior Policy Advisor at Directie Financien and a Marketing Assistant at Vuurwerk Internet BV, along with an internship at The Rendon Group. Melanie holds a Master's degree in Business Administration from Erasmus University Rotterdam and a Bachelor of Science in Commercial Economics from Inholland University of Applied Sciences, complemented by an exchange program at the University of South Florida and a high school diploma from Colegio Arubano.
