Jonathan R. Genzen

Jonathan Genzen serves as the Chief Medical Officer and holds multiple other leadership roles at ARUP Laboratories since January 2013, alongside a professorship in the Department of Pathology at the University of Utah School of Medicine. With extensive experience in clinical pathology and laboratory medicine, Jonathan has previously been an Assistant Professor at Weill Cornell Medical College and an Assistant Attending Pathologist at New York Presbyterian Hospital. Jonathan’s academic background includes a medical degree (M.D.) and a Ph.D. in Biological Sciences from The University of Chicago, complemented by a forthcoming Executive MBA from Cornell and Queen's Universities. Early research endeavors at Yale University focused on the role of ependymal cells in neurogenesis, further establishing a solid foundation in pathology through residency at Yale-New Haven Hospital.
