Mark Monroe has a diverse work experience in various roles, starting as a Software Engineer at ATS Automation in 2001. Mark then worked as a Research Assistant and Scientific Computing Researcher at the University of Zurich from 2008 to 2010. Following this, they were an Application Engineer at Beijer Electronics, Inc. from 2012 to 2013. Mark then transitioned to a Data Engineer role at Desert Research Institute from 2014 to 2015, before moving on to become the Lead Data Engineer at ARUP Laboratories in 2015. Mark has demonstrated a strong background in software development, data analysis, and managing data platforms.
Mark Monroe completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer and Information Sciences from Humboldt State University in 2000. Mark then pursued a Master's degree in Environmental Science at the University of Zurich from 2005 to 2007. In addition, they obtained certifications as a Korenix Certified Network Engineer from Korenix in 2013 and as a Wilderness First Responder from Wilderness Medicine of Utah in 2012.
