Borys Vorobyov

Borys Vorobyov has a significant work experience in various roles and companies. Borys is currently the Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board at Sight Power Inc., a position they have held since January 2022. Borys also founded the company in 2011 and served as the Founder, CEO & CTO until February 2017.

In 2017, Borys founded Arvizio, Inc. and is currently serving as the Founder & Chief Scientist.

Prior to their current roles, Borys worked at Ambercore Software Inc. from September 2003 to January 2011, where they held the positions of Founder, Vice-President R&D and CTO.

Before that, they worked as a Development Manager at Marconi Wireless from July 2001 to August 2003.

Borys also gained experience as a Senior Software Developer at Northwood Technologies from 1998 to 2001.

Their career started at Kharkiv State University in October 1978, where they worked as a Lead Scientist until January 1998.

Borys Vorobyov pursued their education at Kharkiv State University from 1973 to 1978. During this time, they obtained a Master's degree in Mathematics. Later, from 1985 to 1987, they attended Ukrainian State University of Water Management and Natural Resources Application, where they earned a Ph.D in Information Technologies.
