Gert-Jaap Polinder

Gert-Jaap Polinder is an Intelligent Systems Designer at ARVOO Imaging Products BV since May 2020. Previously, Gert-Jaap served as an external researcher and PhD candidate at the Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University, focusing on Supply Chain Management, and supervised master's students. Gert-Jaap garnered experience as a PhD candidate at NS Reizigers in collaboration with the Innovation Department of Netherlands Railways, along with a graduate internship dedicated to developing a new timetable methodology for Dutch Railways. Additional roles include being a member of the PhD council at TRAIL Research School, a visiting PhD student at Università di Bologna, and various educational positions at Inwijs, Lyceo, TU Delft, and AdhocDocent. Gert-Jaap holds both Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Applied Mathematics from Delft University of Technology, complemented by a minor in Transport, Infrastructure and Logistics.
