James Cole has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. James'smost recent position is as the Head of Engineering at Arwen.AI since June 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a Software Engineer at IPL from November 2012 to February 2013, where they designed and developed a management information system for the Ministry of Defense. James also served as a Technical Lead at Momentum Worldwide from August 2012 to November 2012, where they designed and developed various projects for Microsoft's Windows 8 Student Tour. James Cole was a Startup CTO at The Bill Geeks Ltd from July 2012 to September 2012, where they developed an MVC4 site. James was also a Senior Software Engineer at Ascentric from September 2011 to July 2012, leading the technical delivery of a white-labelled investment product to Openwork. In addition, they worked at IPL from April 2009 to January 2012 as an Architect/Senior Software Engineer, leading the development of middleware for the Highways Agency and financial calculators for Nationwide building society. Prior to that, they were a Senior Software Engineer at Emendo from November 2007 to January 2009, implementing a security layer and introducing formal testing. James also worked as a Software Engineer at Magus from January 2006 to September 2007, where they led delivery to Unilever and Shell and developed the in-house platform management software. James Cole started their career at Logica as a Software Engineer from September 2004 to December 2005, handling web and back-end development in Java and serving as a team lead after three months. James also held the role of a lead change coordinator for a 9000-person client in the transport sector during their time at Logica.
James Cole completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and English Literature from Keele University between 1998 and 2001. Later, they pursued a Master of Philosophy degree in Computer Science at Keele University from 2001 to 2003.
