Christian Hölbling

Christian Hung currently serves as a Senior Machine Learning Engineer at CoStar Group, having joined in 2024. Prior to this role, Christian was an Applied Scientist at Uber from 2019 to 2023, where significant contributions included optimizing the allocation of $2 billion in resources through predictive modeling and onboarding machine learning models that greatly reduced manual execution time while enhancing revenue. Earlier experiences include teaching economics at Miami University's Farmer School of Business and serving as a Teaching/Research Assistant and GIS Specialist at Vanderbilt University, where Christian taught core economics courses and facilitated interdisciplinary research. Christian's career began at the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City as an Assistant Economist, preceded by various analytical roles that showcased strong economic and statistical skills. Christian holds multiple degrees in Economics, Mathematics, and Statistics from distinguished universities, including a Ph.D. candidate status at Vanderbilt University and a BA from Northwestern University.
