Didier Castel

Didier Castel is an accomplished IT professional with extensive experience in global support and project management. Currently serving as the Director of Global IT Support at Asahi Kasei since October 2022, Didier leads worldwide Service Desk teams. Prior experience includes the role of Global IT Support Director at Polypore, where responsibilities encompassed driving the organization and coordinating projects from February 2016 to October 2022. Additionally, Didier held multiple positions at Altran Technologies from September 2008 to February 2016, managing international teams and initiatives related to Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) for the pharmaceutical industry, particularly for Eli Lilly & Company. Education includes a PhD in Physics from Université de Haute-Alsace and a Master's degree in Physics from Université Louis Pasteur, with a foundational DEUG in Mathematics from the same institution.
