Ashwin Kalamkar

Ashwin Kalamkar currently serves as the Head of Digital & IT for Custom Synthesis Manufacturing at PI Industries Ltd, a role undertaken since January 2024. Prior to this, Ashwin held the position of Head of Analytics CoE at Biocon, focusing on developing innovative analytics solutions from November 2021 to December 2023. Previously, Ashwin was the Chief Information Officer at Aurigene Pharmaceutical Services, leading digital transformation initiatives from June 2020 to October 2021. Experience also includes significant roles at Dr. Reddy's Laboratories as Head of Digital Transformation and Process Excellence, and leadership positions in analytics and business solutions at firms such as Mu Sigma, Wipro Technologies, and Cognizant. A graduate of the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta with a PGDM in Finance, Marketing, and Strategy, along with a BTech in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, Ashwin brings a strong background in technology, analytics, and operations management.
