Hideki Kobori

Hideki Kobori has been with Asahi Kasei since November 2014, where they currently serve as Presidential Executive Officer & Representative Director. Prior to this, they were Maintenance Manager at Plastipak Packaging, Inc. from March 2013 to November 2014. From January 2002 to January 2013, they were a Tooling Fabricator at Webasto, and from January 1995 to January 1999, they were Shift Supervisor at Webasto.

Hideki Kobori is responsible for increasing the reliability, safety, and effectiveness of operations at Asahi Kasei, with a lead focus on continuous improvement and innovation. Hideki has also been responsible for designing and fabricating fixtures and tools used in automated assembly systems, as well as leading cross-functional teams to meet aggressive production schedules in a safe, efficient, professional manner.

Hideki Kobori has a Bachelor of Technology in Engineering/Industrial Management from Eastern Michigan University and an Associate of Science in Manufacturing Engineering Technology/Technician from Macomb Community College. Hideki also has a certificate in Business Process Improvement from Schoolcraft College.
