Parnesh Goundar

Parnesh Goundar has extensive work experience in the field of security architecture and engineering. Parnesh currently serves as the Principal & Chapter Lead for Security Architecture and Engineering at ASB Bank since November 2020. Prior to this, they worked at Commonwealth Bank as an Enterprise Security Architect from July 2015 to November 2020. Parnesh also held the position of a Principal Security Consultant at TAL Australia from March 2014 to July 2015. Additionally, they have worked as an Engineer - Global Security at Amazon Web Services (AWS) from September 2013 to March 2014 and as a Cyber Security Manager at Rackspace from May 2008 to July 2013. Parnesh has also worked in various IT roles at Pilat Media is now SintecMedia, Savio Solutions, Independent Liquor NZ, Axon Computer Systems Ltd, and Spark New Zealand from 2000 to 2013.

Parnesh Goundar obtained a Master of Science degree in Information Security from Royal Holloway, University of London, from 2009 to 2012.
