Aliya Khan M.D.

Aliya Khan MD, FRCPC, FACP, FACE is a distinguished medical professional specializing in metabolic bone disease. Currently serving as Canadian Ambassador for the American Society for Bone and Mineral Research since May 2019, Aliya holds multiple positions at McMaster University, including Director of the Fellowship in Metabolic Bone Disease and Clinical Professor of Medicine, with involvement in the Divisions of Endocrinology and Metabolism and Geriatric Medicine. In addition, Aliya is an Associate Clinical Professor and Director of the Calcium Disorders Clinic at St. Joseph's Healthcare Hamilton. Leadership is also demonstrated through the role of Director at the Bone Research & Education Centre and as a Consultant in the Department of Medicine at Halton Healthcare. Educational credentials include degrees from the University of Toronto and the University of Ottawa, with advanced certifications in Geriatric Medicine, Endocrinology, and Internal Medicine.
