Ercument Camadan

Ercument Camadan has a diverse work experience that spans over several years. Ercument is currently working as a Senior Energy Analyst at Ascend Analytics since April 2023. Prior to this, they served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte from January 2020, and as a Graduate Research Assistant from August 2018 to May 2023.

Ercument also gained experience at the Energy Market Regulatory Authority (EMRA), where they held various roles including Head of Electricity Tariffs Group from June 2016 to September 2016, Energy Expert from June 2009 to June 2016, and Junior Energy Expert from January 2006 to June 2009.

Ercument also worked as a Graduate Consultant at SunEdison from January 2016 to May 2016, where they were responsible for assessing the economic and operational value of electric vehicles.

Additionally, Ercument served as a Graduate Research Assistant at Columbia University from January 2016 to May 2016, and from September 2015 to December 2015.

Furthermore, they held the position of Chairman of Tariff/Pricing Committee at the Energy Regulators Regional Association from June 2013 to September 2014, and served as a Board Member at the Association of Energy Experts from April 2012 to March 2014.

Ercument Camadan has a diverse education history. Ercument obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Economics from the Middle East Technical University. Ercument later pursued a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Economics from Hacettepe University. Additionally, they studied Economics at the University of Birmingham. Ercument then went on to earn a Master's degree in International Affairs with a focus on Energy and Environment from Columbia University. Currently, they are working towards a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Public Policy from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.

In addition to their academic degrees, Ercument has obtained two certifications. Ercument completed the Google Data Analytics Certificate program through Coursera in December 2022. Ercument also completed the Google Project Management: Specialization program through Coursera in March 2023.
