Ed Gaughan

Ed Gaughan is a seasoned Plant Manager currently with Ascend Elements in Westborough, Massachusetts, where efforts are focused on revolutionizing lithium-ion battery material production through sustainable practices. Previously, Gaughan served as Engineering Manager for Almatis/LAlumina, overseeing capital and special projects from conception to completion. Gaughan also held Plant Manager roles at Westervelt Renewable Energy, VAE Nortrak, and Chicago Finished Metals, where responsibilities included optimizing operations, promoting safety and continuous improvement, and enhancing sales and profitability. Gaughan holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technology.
