Jason Muccioli

Jason Muccioli has extensive experience in the automotive industry, with a focus on electrification and sustainability. Jason is currently working as the Business Development Director for Feedstock & Recycling Services at Ascend Elements, where they are responsible for developing new business opportunities. Prior to this role, Jason held the position of Business Development Manager & Lead for Sales Operations at Ascend Elements.

Before joining Ascend Elements, Jason worked at Li-Cycle as the e-Mobility Manager, overseeing projects related to electric mobility. Jason also served as the Product Planning Manager for Electrification at Dana Incorporated, where they were responsible for developing and implementing product plans.

Jason's experience also includes roles at A123 Systems, where they worked as a Product Manager for Battery Cells, and at General Motors, where they held various positions including Forecast Analyst for Electric Vehicles and Buyer for Electrification. During their time at General Motors, they developed and delivered volume updates, constructed models for monitoring competitor zero emission vehicle compliance, and prepared communications for senior leadership.

Jason began their career as an intern at Detroit Diesel and Roush Industries, gaining valuable engineering experience. Jason also worked as a Technician at Belle Tire.

Jason Muccioli earned a Master of Business Administration from the University of Michigan - Stephen M. Ross School of Business in 2011-2017. Prior to that, they obtained a ME degree in Energy Systems Engineering from the University of Michigan in 2009-2010, and a BSE degree in Mechanical Engineering from the same university in 2005-2009. Jason also holds additional certifications as a Residential Builder from the Michigan Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs and as a DFSS Green Belt from General Motors.
