Don Gilliam

Don Gilliam, CMB, currently serves as Vice President of Mortgage Lending at Ascend Federal Credit Union since January 2015, having previously held the role of AVP of Mortgage Lending. Prior experience includes serving as President of CLM Mortgage, LLC and VP of Real Estate Lending at Amplify. Don's career in mortgage lending also encompasses a senior position as Senior Vice President at MFC Mortgage, managing operations for a builder-owned mortgage company, and as AVP - Branch Manager for NVR Mortgage, overseeing a large branch in Nashville, TN, and later in Charlotte, NC. Earlier experience includes serving as Area Manager at First Union Mortgage. Don holds a B.S. in Business Administration from High Point University and attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
