Isha Ukani is a Research Associate at Ascend Gene & Cell Therapies where Isha focuses on creating effective and scalable gene therapies. Isha co-founded Hardly Foods, specializing in plant-based hard-boiled and soft-boiled eggs. In their role at Nectar Foods, Isha worked on optimizing mushroom growth, developing texturized protein, and directing product design. Additionally, Isha served as a Tutor at Cub Support and was a Finance Committee Member at The Women's Network. Isha holds a Bachelor of Arts in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology from the University of California, Berkeley, as well as a Certificate in Clinical Research Conduct and Management from UC Berkeley Extension. Isha also studied Biotechnology at Moorpark College and graduated from Simi Valley High School.
