Cheryl Chopard

Cheryl Chopard is a seasoned mental health professional with extensive experience spanning over a decade in various therapeutic roles. Currently serving as a PASRR Evaluator/Level II at Ascend Management Innovations, Cheryl conducts in-depth assessments for individuals with mental illness entering Medicaid certified nursing homes. Previous positions include roles such as Outpatient Mental Health Therapist at Four Oaks, Trauma Specialist/Therapist at Lutheran Services in Iowa, and Mental Health Therapist at St. Gregory Recovery Center, focusing on trauma assessments and individual therapy. Additionally, Cheryl has served in positions that involved crisis intervention, clinical therapy for juvenile delinquents, and educational roles as a psychology adjunct instructor. Cheryl holds a Master of Science in Counselor Education from Iowa State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Therapeutic Recreation from the University of Northern Iowa.
