Alex Poynter is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in investment analysis and management. Currently serving as a Senior Investment Analyst at Ascension Investment Management, LLC since March 2020, Poynter previously held positions as an Investment Analyst and Investment Operations Analyst at Conway Investment Research. Poynter's early career includes roles as a Tennis Professional at Frontenac Racquet Club and Pro-shop Manager at Colonial Hills Golf Club. A former Division I Men's Tennis Player at Liberty University, Poynter earned a Bachelor's degree with a double major in Finance and Economics from the same institution, where participation in collegiate athletics was a significant aspect of the student experience.
