Andy L.

Andy L. is a qualified flying instructor at Ascent Flight Training, specializing in training prospective UK military fast jet pilots from the RAF and Royal Navy since September 2022. Prior to this role, Andy L. spent over a decade at the General Medical Council, serving as Assistant Director of the Employer Liaison Service, where guidance on medical professionalism was provided to NHS and private sector Medical Directors. Earlier experience includes significant positions in the Royal Air Force, including Officer Commanding No 1(Fighter) Squadron and Display Pilot for the Red Arrows, along with a background in strategic communications and high-level advisory roles within the Ministry of Defence. Andy L. holds a BEng(Hons) in Aeronautical Engineering from Imperial College London and has a foundation in engineering science from Jesus College.
