Russell Eatwell

Russell Eatwell is an experienced aviation professional with a robust background in both military and commercial aviation. Currently serving as a Synthetic Flight Instructor at Ascent Flight Training since February 2021, Russell previously held positions as an Airline Senior First Officer for Emirates, an Airline Captain for both Etihad Airways and Monarch Airlines, and served as a Lieutenant Commander in the Royal Navy for over 22 years. Russell's military career included flying various aircraft such as the Gazelle and Sea Harrier, along with roles as a CFS Examiner and A2 QFI. Russell's educational background includes training at Britannia Royal Naval College and the Royal Hospital School.
