Carlos Santiago

Carlos Santiago, CPA has over 20 years of diverse work experience in finance and accounting roles. Carlos is currently the Director of Finance at Asensus Surgical, where they are responsible for various financial functions including accounting, financial reporting, internal control, and cash flow analysis. Prior to this, Carlos worked as a Controller at InnFocus, Inc. @ Santen company, where they led the implementation of SAP/4 Hana finance and standard costing systems and oversaw strategic planning and reporting processes. Carlos also served as a Financial Operational Controller at Purilum, a Pyxus International JV, where they were responsible for general ledger, cost accounting, procurement, and financial analysis. Carlos has also held senior level roles at Nederman, Black & Decker, EDS Manufacturing, Avintiv, Guilford Performance Textiles, Applica Consumer Products, The Hershey Company, Covidien, and Frito-Lay, where they gained experience in various industries including automotive, industrial engineering, consumer goods, and healthcare.

Carlos Santiago, CPA completed their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Accounting from the University of Puerto Rico in the years 1983-1987. Later, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Management from the University of Phoenix during the period 1990-1993. Additionally, they obtained certification as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) without specific years indicated.
