Shailesh Gavathe

Shailesh Gavathe is a Senior Software Engineer at ASET Partners since March 2020, focusing on the development of web-based geospatial applications and automation of ESRI systems using AWS and Terraform. Prior experience includes roles as an Engineer Sr at CGI, where responsibilities involved software requirements and dashboard application maintenance, and a GIS Engineer at Xerox, specializing in software development with various technologies. Shailesh has a background in project management and GIS integration as a Task Lead GIS at CSC and has worked in various technical capacities at Landworks Inc and SAIC, utilizing numerous programming languages and tools. Educational qualifications include an M.S. in GIS from Eastern Michigan University and a BS in Civil Engineering Technology from SAKEC in Mumbai. Shailesh also volunteered as a developer lead at GiveCamp Baltimore in 2011, managing a team of developers.
