David Stein

David Stein has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. David is currently the CEO and Co-founder of Ash Wellness since May 2019. Prior to that, they worked as a Batch 27 Founder at 500 Startups from November 2020 to February 2021. David also pursued an MBA at Cornell Tech | S.C. Johnson School of Management from May 2019 to May 2020. Earlier, David held roles in operations and product at Pathstream from June 2018 to May 2019 and worked as an Independent Consultant at Entangled Solutions from June 2018 to August 2018. Before that, David served as a Product Manager and Curriculum Design Lead at MissionU (Acquired by WeWork) from September 2017 to June 2018, where they launched multiple beta products and managed a multi-departmental team. David also played a key role in creating the Data Analytics & Business Intelligence curriculum and leading agile development as a Scrum Master. David's earlier experience includes working as a Senior Consultant and Consultant at IBM from September 2015 to September 2017, as well as an Intern at Providge Consulting in 2014, where they focused on business development and operations. David also gained marketing experience as a Marketing Intern at Novartis in 2013, where they contributed to the development of the company's first iBook on Personalized Medicine and executed a social media and online monitoring project. Additionally, David served as a Public Affairs and Social Media Intern at the Consul General of Israel to Mid-Atlantic Region in 2012, where they managed various communication tasks such as drafting newsletters and press releases.

David Stein completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in 2020 from Cornell Tech and the Cornell Johnson Graduate School of Management. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree with a focus in Finance from The George Washington University School of Business and The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). David also participated in a Study Abroad program at Alexander Muss High School in Israel. David completed their high school education at Jack M. Barrack Hebrew Academy. In addition to their formal education, they obtained certification as an IBM Design Thinking Practitioner from IBM in June 2016.
