Sam Shrivastava

Sam Shrivastava has extensive work experience in various industries. Sam is currently the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Asha Therapeutics, where they utilize a mitochondria-centric approach to neurodegenerative diseases. Sam also founded Venn Therapeutics in 2016 and served as the Founder, Chairman, and Chief Executive Officer. Additionally, Sam founded Ibis Therapeutics in 2018, where they held the positions of Founder, Chairman, and Chief Executive Officer. Prior to their roles in the biotech industry, they founded Blackbird BioFinance in 2014 and served as the Chief Executive Officer until 2016. Before venturing into the biotech sector, Sam worked in the banking and finance industry. Sam was the Chief of Operations at Capital Bank from 2013 to 2016 and held the position of Operations Executive in the Banking and Finance Industry from 2010 to 2013. Sam also worked as the Commercial Strategy Director at Fifth Third Bank, National Association from 2006 to 2010.

Sam Shrivastava has a diverse education history. They obtained a postgraduate medical education in High-Impact Cancer Research from Harvard Medical School, which took place from 2019 to 2021. Prior to that, Sam earned a Master of Science degree in Technology and Management from East Tennessee State University. Their undergraduate education was at the National Institute of Technology Kurukshetra, where they completed a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. Additionally, Sam holds a Master of Divinity degree from Erskine College. In terms of certifications, Sam has completed the "Designing AI Products" program from MIT xPRO and obtained the "CORe Credential of Readiness" from Harvard Business School Online. They have also completed certificates in "Disruptive Strategy," "Entrepreneurship Essentials," and "Negotiation Mastery" from Harvard Business School Online. Furthermore, Sam holds a Master Black Belt in Six Sigma from Bank of America.
