Alissa Hunt

Alissa Hunt is a Clinical Exercise Physiologist currently employed at Ashe Memorial Hospital since January 2023. Prior experience includes serving as an Exercise Physiologist at Manual Physical Therapy, Inc. from May 2022 to November 2022, and a Member Service Teammate at Fitness Connection USA from February 2022 to May 2022. Alissa also worked as a Boat Driver at Camp Willow Run during the summer of 2021, and as a Work Study Student in the Sports Medicine Department at North Carolina Wesleyan College from August 2019 to May 2021, where responsibilities included assisting with cleaning and hydration preparation for sports events. Alissa completed an internship at CORA Physical Therapy from August 2020 to December 2020, and served as Assistant Waterfront Director at Camp Willow Run from June 2020 to August 2020. Earlier in career, Alissa worked as a Pharmacy Technician at Sam’s Club Pharmacy from March 2017 to December 2019. Alissa holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from North Carolina Wesleyan University, earned between 2018 and 2021.
