Jo Rice is an experienced professional in the field of museum education and public programming. Currently serving as the Head of Informal Learning and Public Programmes at the Ashmolean Museum, Oxford, since May 2006, Jo Rice oversees the strategy, development, delivery, and evaluation of learning initiatives tailored for diverse audiences. Jo Rice has also held the position of Head of Heritage Education at Warwickshire County Council and served as a Community Education Officer, contributing to creative programming for various demographics. Additionally, Jo Rice has experience in primary education, having taught at Leeds City Council. Jo Rice's educational background includes a BA Hons in Geography from Newcastle University, an MA in Museum Studies from the University of Leicester, and a PGCE in Primary Education from Leeds University. Jo Rice additionally contributes as a member of the Board of Trustees for the Ark T Centre.
